Come learn about new things happening in WordPress starting with last month's release of WordPress 4.8 (https://wordpress.org/news/2017/06/evans/). Then we'll take a look at WordPress' new exciting editor (https://wptavern.com/wordpress-new-gutenberg-editor-now-available-as-a-plugin-for-testing) codenamed Gutenberg (https://wordpress.org/plugins/gutenberg/). Will do a preview of Gutenberg and talk about what this means for WordPress.
